HOUSEWAVES-ONE is a compact desktop speaker designed exclusively for use with Home Assistant over WiFi. Plug it in, connect to your WiFi and Music Assistant discovers it automatically. No coding or custom integrations necessary.

Stream synchronized music across every room from Music Assistant. 
Play TTS voice announcements clearly with your TTS integration.
Music pauses for the notification, then resumes exactly where it left off.

WHY IT EXISTS

I'm Tim — a Home Assistant user who spent too many evenings fighting with integrations, workarounds and custom code just to get music and announcements on my Sonos and Alexa speakers but getting the same result:  it...almost...works.

So I built one that does. 

Speakers using standard ESP32 controllers and tested, open-source firmware. 

No proprietary apps. No subscriptions. No end-of-life bricking. 
You own it. You control it.

HouseWaves speakers are designed from the ground up for Home Assistant.
